depo shot side affect need help
okay i have a problem anyone have the problem with the depo i have been off the depo for over three months already and i still have not got a period i have only had one dose of the shot i am now having problems sleeping and sweet alot and feel sick
I am currently on the depo shot.. Have been for years. Not sure about all the side effects once you're off, but my Dr. did tell me that if/when I choose to get off depo it can take up to a year before a woman's system to go back to normal - including normal/regular periods. You've been pumping a lot of hormones in your body and now it needs to get re-balanced.
If you are really concerned, set up and appt with your doctor and discuss your symptoms - but this sounds like you're body is just trying to readjust
