Hey...I'm new here and hoping I'll get some answers about birth control I've been on. For about 6 years I was on the birth control pill and recently went off it due to chest pains, then I went on the depo shot right after thinking that would solve my problems...nope-actually made them worse. My last and only shot was in September 2006. Since then I've had irregular bleeding which is normal when your on that shot but since the first of January this year I have had non stop bleeding-I asked my Dr about it and she said it's because the birth control is getting out of my system which takes time-that's all she said, just wondering if anyone has or is going through a similar experience.
