Default Microgestin FE (generic for Loestrin) issue...

I was on Yaz for over a year, but switched to Microgestin FE 1/20 tablets two months ago because it's a lot friendly on the wallet. I'm starting my third month supply today, and am just wondering if anyone else has had the same issues as me.

The first period on this pill started around day 4 of the inactive pills and was more like spotting twice a day for 4 days. Now, the next month, I didn't have a period. I should have started about 5 days ago, but as I took them all on time, I really don't think I'm pregnant.

Just wondering if anyone else has had that, or if I should consider switching back to Yaz.

I have been on microgestin for almost three years and the very light spotting late in the inactive pills has been the norm for me. Some months I won't have any bleeding at all. Maybe every three or for months I'll have regular bleeding for a few days. I went from long & heavy to that so I love it, its just a little un-nerving sometimes, especially if you are in a relationship )
