I've been on birth control for a good 6 years now and always had regular periods. I haven't had sex since my last period, but before my last period I did have unprotected sex. I took my last pill five days ago, but I've been having either spotting or a really light period since that day. All I am trying to figure out could this be a really light period? Is that possible to have one after years of being on birth control? I did take two pregnancy tests just in case and both came back negative. Can this spotting or light period be replacing my regular period? Its brownish in color, looking like old blood, but also has a little red tint to it. My periods usually last 3-4 days. Since I've been on the pill for so long and have been so regular, this change is FREAKING ME OUT!!! I'm trying to figure out what is going on with me and why!? I'm in need of some desperate answers!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks!
