Unhappy I hate Birth Control! NEED ADVICE

I just started back up on birth control again. I had previously taken it for 2 or 3 years and got off it for about 6 months. I'm on my first pack and my hormones are out of control. I'm breaking out like crazy and depressed most of the time. Me and my boyfriend never usually fight and lately have been and it's really affecting our relationship. I'm on a low dosage Ortho tri cyclen lo and it still sucks. I don't know what to do I am always upset and feel like crying.

It also doesn't help that my family is pretty much crazy, recently divorced and my dad has gone back to drinking himself retarded. He had problems with it his whole life but had stopped for a long time but now he is a completely different person.

I recently became independent being 22 and out of college now. I am always broke and my job just doesn't pay well. I can barely cover my rent alone each month and that doesn't include other necessities I can't even afford. Not many jobs available for only having an associates degree and can't afford to go back to school right now. I didn't realize how stressful being on your own is and my family can't help out nor do I expect them too. But they are broke too.

I am dealing with a UTI at the moment that has started to get pretty bad but I can't really afford to go and get it taken care of. This is also affecting my mood cause it is painful and making me sick.

I know I am just complaining but I just want some advice I am so down and don't know how to get my life together and change it. I just feel like giving up sometimes.. I'm not suicidal or anything but just feel like I'm falling into a dark hole. How can I turn it around? If anyone has any advice please let me know I would appreciate it thank you

go and see the doctor/nurse and see if they can offer you a different kind of BC that doesnt interfere so directly with your hormones like the coil for instance.

Are you asking for BC advice, or life advice?

I guess I am kinda asking for both. Started out with BC and I wondered if that was what was causing me to start getting so upset about all these things.
