throwing up a pill?
I was sick last week. Took my birth control pill on time and ended up throwing up about 10 minutes later. Is this considered a missed pill since it didn't have time to really digest? How long should I use a backup method during sex? When is it safe to just rely on my pills again?

If I remember correctly, the instructions advise that if you are on antibiotics, vomit, or so, then you need to use an extra birth control for a week.
I have missed the first pill of a month for over 24 hours, then took them normally again and had sex 4 days later (not a week, as said in the instructions) and nothing happened. However, it's always best to be safe and wait for a week, it will save you the anxiety over it.
