    Hi,
I take Yaz every day like clockwork but I am overweight. I had sex without a condom early Sunday morning. I have been taking Yaz for years. Was wondering if I needed an EC (Before it's too late) or if since I haven't skipped a single active pill if I still would be protected from pregnancy, as it's been in my body for awhile... Thanks!

If you're taking it properly then your weight shouldn't have an effect.

Thankyou That makes me feel much better. I had read studies that said that it decreases efficiency if you are overweight, but I take it as directed.
