    Hello...

I wanted to get some opinions and maybe experiences with Lybrel. I have PMDD. Yaz worked great for me. But it still turned me into Dr. Jekyle and Ms. Hyde. I would be fine for 2 weeks out of the month and the other two weeks were for me. So I asked my Doctor if there's any other pill out there that would help. And she suggested Lybrel and Seasonique. I choose the Lybrel route... So here comes my question... for those of you who have PMDD and are on Lybrel... what's it like?

I've only been on it for less than a week, and my bf says he can see a difference. Can you really see changes in less than a week?

When I first started taking Yaz, it was apparent that it was working within the first week or two. I felt so much better. If you are sensitive to estrogens and hormones within your body then it can make quite a good change after such little time. (I knew within 2 weeks that Ortho Lo wasn't for me, but I stuck through it for the 3 months.) I was/ still am for now, also taking Yaz especially for PMDD and a bit of PCOD.

Let me know how Lybrel works out! I'm having some really light spotting now on Yaz (not sure if it's the birth control itself or something else it came up rather sudden) after being on it for over a year and I'm not happy. Of course, I take it like Lybrel, every 5-6 months when I feel like it I'll take the placebos otherwise I just take active pill after active pill. Essentially using Yaz like a cheaper Lybrel.

I really hate having a period! Do you know how much Lybrel is per box?
