Diaphragms, Caps?
Need some advice from experienced diaphragm users.
Or caps.
I'm not comfortable with an IUD, or anything that should be implanted into my cervix. (Maybe someday, but not comfortable with the thought of it now). At the same time, I've been on the pill for around 9-10 years, and I've gotten to the point in my life where I am very concerned with purifying my body. I spend a lot of time reading about foods, drinks, exercises, etc... basically just ways to keep my body it's healthiest. Well, it seems a bit contradictory to do all this, yet pump my body with BC every day. So I am looking for a non-hormonal method of birth control.
The diaphragm came to mind. I did a search on here and found one post where diaphragms and cervical caps are recommended by a few posters.
Anyone have any advice or experiences with diaphragms or caps?

Beautiful
I've used both diaphram and cap. Usin a cervical cap now and love it. Check out other posts on this subject an you'll find a bunch of good info.
I think bottom line that each of us are different and that we hve to find what works best for out individual body, lifestyle and needs.
Hope this helps a little.

Thank you! Have you ever been on the pill? If so, what were your experiences as a result of switching to the diaphragm, or cap? Feel healthier?
Do you have any side effects at all from using the cap? When you say you love it, is that regarding the comfort level, ease of insert, ease of removal? I guess I'm asking, what makes you like it better than the diaphragm?
