Thread: fitting required for cervical cap?

Where do you buy a cervical cap, and does it require proper fitting by a gyn.? Is it a hassle to put in/take out?

yes, you have to be fitted for the cap. One time in, it's not like they make one exactly to fit you, the obgyn (usually actually done by the R.N. I think) just looks at your cervix and pretty much picks one out. that and some info an training on how to put in take out and where to put the spermicide.
No, I don't find it hard at all to slip in or to remove.
