Thread: Copper IUD

Hey,

I got a copper IUD a month ago. The first week was a little rough, but not terrible. But I noticed that whenever I get cramps it tends to be on my right side now. Or, during sex I get a shooting pain on my right. I don't know if it's related to my IUD or just me...because I never noticed it on my right before.

I went to the doctor, and my strings are still there (so.,..it should be where it should be)...and she says I dont have a cyst. But again, I didnt mention the pain during sex, which really only occurs sometimes and in certian postions.

I was just wondering if anyone had this experience or more pain after an IUD was inserted during sex.

Or any copper IUD experiences in general as well. I know nobody in my area with this.
