    Hi All,

I recently took the morning after pill (sunday 28th of March) and have only started to get nausea and feeling sick symtoms now. The began yesterday (1st of April) and I am a little worried if it is normal?
My doctor told me when I took the moring after pill I may experience some spotting but I have not yet experienced that and I am not due my period until the 10th of April.
I am a little worried and paranoid that I may be pregnant.
I would appreciate any feedback anyone could give me.

    Thank You.

How long after sex did you take the pill? If it was within 72 you're probably fine. It can sometimes mess up your cycle so the cramping could be your period coming on a few days earlier than normal. Not everyone spots, so I wouldn't worry about that.

    Thank you for your reply.
It was within 48 hours I took the morning after pill after having sex.
Im just worried because its not really cramping im getting but feeling sick and it has only started occuring within the last two days.
I didnt feel any side affects straight after taking the pill and now I dont feel anything but a sick feeling and it hasnt stopped since.
Im just a little scared and am wondering if the pill has actually worked.

The way it works is that it just makes your period come at the scheduled time. So if you're supposed to get it on the 10th, you'll probably get it sometime around there. You probably don't feel awesome because it's sort of a shock to the system. Give it a month and normal cycle and you'll be back to normal.

I was also just a little worried because I thought that me feeling ill was a side affect of me actually being pregnant and the morning after pill not working?
