Depo shot + Long period

I have just recently started shot one of the Depo, the following week i was suppose to have my period which i was told should happen, and it did... the problem is it has't stopped!!! Is there any advice as to how i might slow it down or not to worry so much about it?? i have been on it for almost 30 days now! I have ready many replies about how ladies would not recommend the depo shot, my period isn't really heavy enough to worry too much, but not light enough to be spotting, its just enough to be obnoxious!! I want to be myself again and a wife to my husband! any suggestions, other than the obvious of not taking the depo??

I wish I had some other advice for you other than not to take Depo, but unfortunately, that would be my advice. I was on that for a year and it was absolutely the worst year of my life.

Hopefully others can give some helpful advice.

yeah i was so planning on it... i got the shot once and i am not going back for another! my husband and i thought it would be the right choice for our future plans but so far its put off so much "alone" time!! Thanks for the advice though!!
