I just had the Paragard IUD inserted last week. Everything went well. I had some heavy cramping the first day or two, but that quickly went away. It was inserted about 4 days into my period and I've been spotting lightly, which subsided late yesterday.

Today, however, I noticed a thicker slightly yellowish, but odorless discharge that came about pretty suddenly after standing up. Is this normal? I've heard stories of increased discharge from having an IUD that varies somewhat from a woman's normal color and texture. Anyone else have this? Should I be worried?

I'm due for a follow up next month after my next period and I'm definitely going to bring this up, but wanted to post here in the meantime.
