I just got my pill pack today, and I've never been on birth control before. I will be taking Microgestin Fe 1/20. The packet says to either take on the first day of my period or the first sunday following the start of my period.

My last period started on the 9th (Sunday) and ended on the 14th (Friday). Today is Wednesday the 19th. Obviously the first day of my period has passed, and the following Sunday has passed as well.

Do I need to wait until next month for my period to start before starting my pill pack, or can I just go ahead and start taking it? I would like to go ahead and get started instead of waiting a few weeks. Thanks in advance.
