I'd say you should start right now and keep observing your "regular" cycle as pills put it out of whack. And always use condoms for protection - from unwanted pregnancy and STI's.
Hi everyone, I'm new to these forums.
I have a little question that I hope someone could answer.
I've decided to quit the pill. I've been on them for about 3 years, first on yasmin, then on loette for the last 6 months. I have 0 sex drive and I'm sick of pumping my body with all these hormones. I want to starting using the fertility awareness method and use a diaphragm/condoms as backup..
So my question is.. I'm on my last tray of pills right now (I have 4 white pills left to finish). I just got my period today. Should I start "charting" my period/Basal temp/mucus right now? Or should I wait until my next "real" period when I'm totally off the pill? (Although from what i hear it could be a while before I get it again?)
Thanks =)

I agree with Cat. I'd start charting right now. With the understanding that your first 3 months or so off the pill, your cycle may be all over the place.
