Hi,

I've just recently started the pill Femodene. I used to be on Yasmin for 3 years on and off, untill i started break through bleeding. So i took a 6 month break. Had to take the morning after pill twice in one month. So then i got put back on the pill by my doctor. I started the pill 10 days ago and have been bleeding ever since... It is an absolute nightmare! I just want to be able to have sex and not worry about getting pregnant!! My period normally will last 5 days maximum.

The period was heavy for the first bit, and now is light every day... (but still definitely proper blood) It does not happen at all at night time. I get strong cramps when I bleed too. And back ache.

As well as being on my period, my vagina has become really dry, and keeps getting little splits in it. I've had these before, and have seen a doctor, and know they are not STIs.

This is all just a big nuisance. Is any of this happening to any one else? And has anyone had this in the past? How long till your period goes away and you can have the 28 days without your period? Or is this pill just not right for me?
