Birth Control Pill Stuck In Throat..Please Help!

Some days my birth control pill goes down fine, but some days, I feel like it gets caught in the back of my throat and doesn't go down until an hour or so later. Does this reduce effectiveness?

Hi my name is Jill does this only happen when you take your birth control or does it happen all of the the time no matter what medicine you take. This might help I just found out a monthago my second Gi doctor that I'm seeing now sent me to I had a upper gi done and the lining of my esophagus is too small I've had this problem for a very long time he was surprise that my first Gi doctor did see if on any of the test that he done he did two upper endoscopy and a capsule endoscopy. since its already in your body it shouldnt affect the effectiveness. are you taking it with a big drink of water? or try eating something straight after so it gets washed down that way.
