I had the Essure procedure done two months ago. About mid cycle this month, we had a birth control malfunction. As a result, I'm flipping out that my tubes may not be blocked enough to prevent pregnancy. W/ my first pregnancy, I got pregnant after one unprotected time. I had two high risk pregnancies and a miscarriage. I don't want to go through that again. It's been two months. I've googled, emailed Essure and still can't find an answer. Is it likely that my tubes may be closed by this point? I've been freaking out for the last few days. This will be a long wait until my cycle is due.
Thanks!
Welcome to the Forum.
The below link was started here in 2008 and consists of many essure failures.
There off course have been successes as well, however you may find your answer here, or if not, post more questions or your question on that thread.

In addition, there is no guarantee that essure works, as far as not causing pregnancy, especially if you have had a complication with it...
Play it safe for now...
Also, I would see an alternative Doctor who has successfully conducted essure several times, within your area and have him/her check you out.
It is "claimed" that some Doctors are still "training" on it and are making errors..
