You had surgery so I am not surprised it hurts. Did you not receive pain medication?
I had the essure procedure done a week ago. Maybe it's too early to tell, but I've had so much cramping that I wonder if I've made the right decision. I'm not a normal blogger, but I need to get information on this thing. It sounded pretty harmless when my OB told me that it would be just a "couple of pinches". This is not true. The second injection of numbing medicine placed in my cervical area gave me a very painful jolt. They also didn't tell me that my husband couldn't be in the room during the procedure. Oh! and the CHAIR/BED/TABLE that is used to do the procedure was covered in heavy medical plastic and had the biggest stir-ups I have ever seen. I remarked in another blog reply that it appeared more like an execution apparatus. I've had nothing but pain since this implant was performed on my left side. I think I'm going to call my OB on Monday and ask that I have it removed. Wondered if anyone has had the Essure removed after a week or so?

There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
The coverings for the chair are normal. The nurse who assisted within mine explained that it is a completely sterile procedure and that the equipment essentially all comes in a kit. I personally didn't feel any pain after but I would imagine depending on the circumstance there might be more pain depending on the body type, age, physical condition, etc. I began to wonder if perhaps pressure might cause some of the pain in some people whether it be from excess weight, gas, abnormal growths, swelling, or other cause. Either way it's better to be safe than sorry. Let your doctor know about the pain and hopefully they can help find the exact source and help you manage the pain.
