    Default Got Off the Patch in Nov. 2009

    I was on the patch for over 2 years, Had to get off it because i lost my medical insurance. Since getting off the patch i have had a total of 4 periods...dec. and jan.had a period.Went without a period feb. and march. April and May got my period. but now june and july im without again. I get the symptoms of a period(cramps,bloating,breakingout,ect.) yet no period. ive taking pregnecytest, all neg.Does anyone have any clue what is going on with me? Please its driving me insane!

    That is a long time, but I've always been told by the Dr's as long as you are having a period at least every 3 months, there is nothing to worry about. However, I still think you should go in and have an exam. If you are still without insurance, try to get into a Planned Parenthood or see if you state has a local health office (assuming you are in the US). Those would charge based on your income.

    Normal. I had 4 periods in a year after taking yasmin for years and then stopping. It happens to lots of people. Sometimes your body doesn't immediately take over again.
