Cerazette side effects?!

Morning all,

I am new to this forum but have a few questions I am hoping you ladies can help me with.

I have just started Cerazette (POP), about 5 days ago, and am having some strange symptoms, I was wondering if anyone else has suffered the same or if someone has some advice for me.
I was due on last Thurs, but no sign of AF so on Friday I took a test which was negative. Sunday AF showed and I took my first pill.

Monday Morning I noticed my boobs had gone up over a cup size, were rock solid and VERY tender. I put this down to AF!

Yesterday AF finished, but my boobs are still a size bigger than usual and my nipples have got very sore and are constantly erect. My areola appears is darker and the Montgomery Tubercles have become alot larger. I also have blue veins going from my nipple up my breast and slightly onto my chest.

Please can you give me some advice...

i never had that effect with my boobs (Wish mine went up a cup haha) but my periods got seriously messed up. I didn't have a period for roughly the three weeks then bled constantly and had to come off it, so if you haven't got your period that's probably normal. Maybe ask your docs about your breasts.

I am not so much complaining about the going up a cup size, this is welcomed and my bf is in his element hehe.
I have read that it is very common for it to mess up periods... So I will be keeping an eye on that!

Will see how it goes for a week I guess and if it continues I will go and see my Dr as this is driving me mad!! Struggling to find a bra that does not make my nipples really painful!!

yeah I have actually just come off it because of my periods

so please be very careful! Just a wee tip taking a B6 vitamin may help as it helps regulate hormone levels!

Don't panic - ur symptoms are totally normal with Cerazette.
Ur bleeding cud be haywire , may settle to a normal pattern or if ur lucky cud stop. As for the boobs, why not try a high strength evening primrose oil pill of 1000mg aday, it took a few weeks but certainly helped my huge, sore & swollen boobs when I was takeing Cerazette. - xx

I am so sad to read your problem, my advice you have to stop this product immediately and ask your Dr to other pill which fit you and has less side effect.

Plz don't stop taking Cerazette until you have got something else sorted, the gap between pills may be just enough for an accident to happen. The boob issue is a total pain but not harmful, far less of an inconvenience than an unwanted pregnancy!!
