Thread: delay period for 1 week

Hi. I want to delay getting my period for 1 week since I do not want to be on vacation when I get my period. I am due to start taking my pills today. Can I start taking the pills next sunday instead. I know I have to be careful so my fiance and I will use extra protection. How long do we have to use extra protection? Thanks

Take your pills now, as planned and then when you get to the 'week off pills' just start a new pack of active pills and you won't get your period until you get to the week off pills again.
