So on the 19th of July I got the depo shot. I was told that it could take 9 to sometimes a little more then a year to get pregnant after receiveing the shot. Would that be the case for me since I only have had one shot ever in my life and if I didn't go back in for anymore shots, just continued on my patch birth control??? I am not looking to get pregnant right away but my fiance and I discussed me getting pregnant last night and we were thinking about wanting to try about this time next year. We know there is never a "right" or "good" time to have a baby and to be honest we are both excited at the thought of bringing a baby into our lives together. What have been your experience with the depo shot and trying to get pregnant????
