Default Using BC and pull out method, first pack of pills, pregnancy chance?

Hi everyone, this is my first thread on this website, and I was looking for some insight on a question I had. I just started my first pack ever of BC, Loestrin 24 Fe. I was 5 days into my first pack (5 active pills) when my boyfriend and I had sex for the first time. We didn't use an alternate method of contraception (condom), but he did pull out every time instead of finishing inside of me. Is there any chance that I could be pregnant because this is my first pack and my body isn't used to bc yet? I started on day 1 of my period (my pack said that day one starters do not need alternate methods of contraception). Maybe I"m just being paranoid because this is my first time having sex and using bc, but could anyone help answer my worries?

    Thank you.

Possibly, but probably not very likely. If you started on day 1 of your period, you would only have had sex on day 5 of your cycle. Chances of ovulation are slim, but not unheard of. I recommend using back up protection for the first month, to be on the safe side, but some work within 7 days or a couple of weeks.

The reason they say day 1 starters don't need back up is because generally the body ovulates on days 12-16 of your cycle, give or take, so the pill would be effective by the time that happens.

I would strongly recommend using protection in the first month to make sure you don't get pregnant. The pull out method is not reliable because it feels so good sometimes the boyfriend does not want to pull out. I dought if your preganant but take precautions.
