    Hello,

    I got the Essure procedure done on October 2, 2010. I'm going on saturday for my follow up appointment. I'm still having cramps and light bleeding, is that normal for some? I would really like to hear feedback on other women's experiences with Essure. I've read a lot of bad stories, but am really interested in some uplifting stories to help ease my mind that this cramping will go away!

    I am having mine done Friday Oct. 15,2010. I am not as nervous. The doctor doing my procedure has done hundreds and she was reassuring. People who post things usually only post due to problems. But there are a lot of good, positive stories on this procedure. They had good experiences so they are not on here looking for awnsers. If you read a lot of them had it done years ago. It is more popular and more doctors are experienced enough to do it. Keep a smile on that face and quit worrying. It is normal, for the spotting and such. Everyones body is different and some it takes longer. Just let your doctor know when you go in for your check up

    Thanks, I wasn't nervous beforehand either. Quite excited for the three months to go by and be off of hormonal birth control forever!!! can't wait to be sterile finally ;-)

    Yes I will talk with the doctor about it and hopefully he can assure me that the spotting will go away rather sooner than later
