    Default Question about Depo?

Okay so this is my first time ever on birth control and I'm 19, anyway, I started the Depo shot in August and in september I had no period. It's now october and around...October 11th, I started to spot and since then I've had this light period where I can be on one pad all day.

My question is could this be related to the depo shot?

I'm making a doctors appointment tomorrow but I've been told by a coworker it may be my hormones but I thinks it the deop, can anyone help?

Yes it is likely the depo shot. There is a thing called breakthrough bleeding that can occur with any form of birth control which is noted on all forms of birth control. It is just your body getting used to seeing this new *thing* inside you (in your case the shot).

You can go if it puts your mind at ease.

No one can predict the future so to be honest I have no idea. The doctor may say the same thing but you can still ask him/her a bunch of questions, that is what they are there for.
