Thread: Problems when remove mirena

I had my mirena for 3 years and I wanna become pregant again, so I set up an appoitmmnent for it, and the Dr. broke the string when was trying to remove. So now I have to go to the hospital to do it. This ever happen to anybody? or somebody can tell me how this gonna happen?/ Please help me!!!!

i had a problem where they went to remove mine and couldnt see the strings.
i had to go to the hospital to have it removed as well....
i went to the hospital they put me out they use a d and c to remove it... was no biggie...
i had mine taken out and a new one put in because it had been in for 5 years...
anything else i can help u with?
