Hi, I just recently switched birth controls after 4 years of the same pill, not for any reason besides it was cheaper.
My gyno said that it was the same as my old one but it was going to make my periods shorter and lighter. Well after my first month of taking it my period came but lasted for 2 1/2 days, which I was excited about.
However, when I started my second pack, I somehow lost a pill. The pills start on a Sunday and on Wednesday morning I started bleeding. The bleeding only occurs when I wipe and is just looks like normal period blood. It is continuing to happen all day Thursday too. Is my body just getting used to the new pills/missing a pill?

It can be withdrawl bleeding from missing one pill, but if you just started this pill, your body needs at least 3 months to adjust to it. I wouldn't be too alarmed since it's fairly new to your body. Are you sexually active without any other form of protection?
~Today, any person can fight the battles of one day It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternity's- yesterday and tomorrow, that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives people mad. It is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us therefore, live but one day at a time.~
