    Hello,

I've been on birth control for about 2 years now, last month I got my periods just like I was supposed to but then when it was time for me to restart taking my pill, I had an issue and wasn't able to take them for 3 days, when I got a new pack I right away took one and continued for the rest of the month (I should of known I was supposed to wait to until the next sunday), except when my pack was supposed to be done, I, indeed, had 3 left, so I took them, told myself maybe it would "make up" (also I did not have any sexual relations with my boyfriend for a week after my last periods due to the fact that I couldn't take my pill). I usually get my periods 3 days after a pack is done, now the same thing is happening this month although my periods are very very light colored and I'm barely bleeding, I'm wondering if this could be fake periods (its happend to me before that I missed 4 pills in a row and had fake periods) or if those are my usual periods, is there a risk that I might be pregnant?

Also, I'm supposed to be starting a new pack on thursday, should I take it on thursday or wait until sunday?

I'm a little confused about what I should do and it stresses me out, I could really use some help.

    Thanks.

First, all periods while on the birth control are "fake" periods. Your body is probably just trying to adjust to the different schedule you put it on. As long as you took your birth control pills for at least 7 days before having unprotected sex, I wouldn't worry about pregnancy too much.

Why do you keep missing 3-4 pills at a time? If you want to stop stressing out, make sure you're taking them everyday at the same time. It shouldn't really matter what day of the week you start on, all packs of BC pills have where you can start whenever, but if it makes you feel less stressed you can wait until Sunday to start them again. Just make you sure wait 7-10 DAYS before having unprotected sex with your boyfriend and most importantly, don't miss any more pills from now on. It isnt healthy for your body and you'll just end up stressing yourself out again. Good luck!
~Today, any person can fight the battles of one day It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternity's- yesterday and tomorrow, that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives people mad. It is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us therefore, live but one day at a time.~

Yeah, I was aware that all periods while on birth control are fakes but I was wondering why this month their not the same color or not even bleeding as much.
Thanks a lot for your reply, it did help me and I'm not too worried anymore.
