Thread: Missed Period on Yaz..Don't think im pregnant

I missed my period this past month, I took two test and they were both negative. I threw up last night but I believe its the stomach bug from how I feel. I have been under extreme stress, and also intercourse has been very painful. If I use a jelly lube it helps but I feel itchy afterwords, and if I don't im extremly sore and can't even get through sex. I am not sure if missed periods are linked to painful sex in anyway though...I read somewhere it was was...I have no other symptoms of pregnancy actually I felt like i was going to get my period. I started my hormone pills..should I have waited? Please someone help me out.

No, if you took your active pills when you normally would have then that is good. Sometimes while on the pill you miss a period. If you miss your period next month, then I would see a doctor. You can continue to take pregnancy tests each week until your next period just to make sure you're no pregnant. One reason for painful sex withou lube could be because of your pill. It can cause vaginal dryness. Keep using lube if it helps!
