Hi I started Yasmin, and so far no side effects at all WONDERFUL, but i was wondering what you do if you do not get your period during those placebo pills? are you supposed to, if you dont can you have sex? thanks....
I've never used yasmin but I'm on ortho and my period always comes like 3 days after I start the placebo pills and lasts a few days into the new set of pills. My doc says its fine and its a good thing but i'd talk to your doc as well
Have protected sex during that time as you may still ovulate. You can get pregnant even when on your period, so be safe. It may just be the hormonal switchover.
Do not have unprotected sex though as you do not know if you will become pregnant.
