    Default skipping a period week

Ok so basicly I started taking the plecbo for two days, then because of the hoilday and other reasons I decided to skip my period this month. I proceeded to take the first week of pills of the new pack. Now after a couple of days Im still haveing light bleeding. Nothing as heavy as a period but just enough to be bothersome. So what I need to know is have I completely messed up my cycle or will it go back to normal when I start the second week of active pills tomarrow? Thanks so much.

    Hello LadyPinky

Sometimes even when you attempt to skip your period you may experience a lighter period as you mentioned you did. Now to get back into the cycle will be fine but it may be lighter/heavier the next time you have your period and possibly for a longer time as well. You may experience when taking the next few active pills that the bleeding may continue for a while before getting back into routine.

Keep in mind when you are on the pill you dont technically have a "period" its basically only break through bleeding caused by the hormones in the pill so they control your cycle regardless.

    Everything is going well,

Only little bit of dark colored discharge today is all.
