Hi there, first post so please treat me gently.
I’m a married 42 y/o based in the UK and I think I’m going through the menopause.
I haven’t had a period since February 2009 and over the past year I’ve had a number of the usual symptoms.
I feel guilty asking this because I know there are thousands of women who want to conceive but can’t, but is there a way I can be sure I’m now infertile? E.g.: is there a test a doctor can carry out, or is there even a home test kit?
I’ve never been able to use clinical contraception of any kind because they gave me migraines.
I just want to know if me and my husband can now ‘play safely’ without worrying about babies.
Some say two years without a period is long enough to be sure, but I want to be absolutely certain.
It would be nice to be able to tell my man that he can finally throw away the jonnies.
Thanks
x
The only way to know is to go to the Dr.
Friendship Prayer
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotch of the person who screws up your day and may their arms be too short to scratch.
Amen
Whoever said anything was possible obviously never tried slamming a revolving door.
