Hi everyone,
I haven't posted on here in awhile, but I'm hoping this will calm my nerves.
I normally take my pill at 3:30 everyday. I had sex on Friday night without a condom, and then realized I hadn't taken my pill and wasn't able to take it until noon on Saturday. The guy did not ejaculate inside me and I've taken my pill on time every other day this week. Also, I've had this happen in the past and never got pregnant. I've been on the pill for over two years now, and have almost always taken it regularly.
I'm not due for my period until the end of this month, and I've taken my pill on time since Saturday. I am at the beginning of my pill pack too. Do you think I need to take Plan B? I'm fairly certain I should be fine, but I'm only 20 and getting pregnant is just about one of the scariest things that could happen to me at this point. So, if anyone can calm me down I would really really appreciate it.
Thank you!

Missing a pill is not that big of a deal IF you take it as soon as your remember. In your case since you took it at noon on Saturday and then the regular scheduled time of 3:30 (this means 2 pills taken that day) you would be okay by the guideline on the box. You likely would not need to take plan B if you are consistent with taking the pill any other day but if you want you could take it, as long as it is within 72 hours of you having sex.
