Most of times the rule of thumb is if you miss one days pill, then the next day take two, then continue taking as normal. At this point you are still considered "protected". However, your best bet, is to call your doc (you'll most likely get to speak with the nurse) tell them exactly what you did and just double check. Also, in the long incredibly boring pamphlet that comes in the box of pills, I believe it covers the situation of missing one pill, and taking two the next day. If you miss two days pills, you are considered unprotected and must wait and start a new pack.
Could you be pregnant? Yeah...you could be, but I'd consider it unlikely. Usually it takes about 5 days from the time of fertlization of the egg to travel up your tubes and implant into the wall of it's new home. Once that happens your body starts producing the pregnancy hormone which is detectable on home pregnancy tests. One thing the pill does is inhibit the production of the "fertile" cervical fluid which is what helps the sperm live and flourish as it travels to the egg. So again, it is unlikely that you're pregnant. But taking a test always made me feel MUCH better.
