Default Paragard IUDs and using Menstrual cups...??

I have been using my DivaCup menstrual cup for about 6 months and am in love with it!! I will be getting my Copper IUD within the next few months. My concern is that inside the directions for my DivaCup, it recommends not using their product if you have an IUD. I believe it is because they are afraid the cup might dislodge the IUD by pulling on the string. Obviously this presents a problem for me being that I do not want to give up either of them...I am wondering if there is by chance any ladies out there who happen to have both an IUD and use a menstrual cup???...any info would be much appreciated

I just got an IUD and would love to know the answer to this question too! Maybe your doctor can tell you when you get the IUD?

From the DIVA cup website, it says:
    Q. Can The DivaCup be worn with an IUD?

    A. Please use caution when using any internal feminine hygiene product with an IUD as there is a rare possibility of dislodging it. We recommend that you become familiar with your particular IUD risks (such as body expelling IUD, etc.). As with any gynaecological concerns, please consult your physician prior to using a menstrual cup.
