I've been on Seasonique for over two years now and haven't had any problems or complaints until about 6 months ago (possibly longer). I first became a little worried because my periods started becoming so light, it was almost more like spotting than being on my period, and 90% of the blood was very very dark. Then, just this week, I started bleeding like I'm on my period (way more than when I induce my periods, with bright red blood) and I'm 3 weeks away from when I'm supposed to be on it. Also, is it true that Seasonique can cause an excessive appetite? I am hungry almost all the time, when I shouldn't normally be etc., and wasn't like this before.
Are these normal side effects, or could this be a real problem? I am making an appointment with my gyno tomorrow and I'm pretty sure I just want to change birth controls. Does anyone else have similar problems with Seasonique? Also, are there any birth controls that consistently work really well?
