Question Not sure what's going on

    Hello everyone, here's my situation:

I have been on the same bc pill for a about 2 years now (Norynil-before that I was on a monthly shot). Last month I went to the pharmacy to pick up my refill (the same day I was to start taking it) and the pharmacist advised me that there were none available, and the only way for me to get something else required a prescription from my doctor. This was a Saturday and my doc is out of office on the weekends. I didn't get a prescription for another pill (Gynera) until Tuesday (so i was "pill-less" for 3 days). I decided to take 2 pills and continue the pack as usual (my doc said it was cool). Now here I am to this confusion...last Saturday would have marked the first day of my seven day break to get my period. It is day five and I have received nothing but light spotting just once today. I did have unprotected sex with my boyfriend and so I'm not certain if this is a sign of pregnancy or just a side effect of switching to this pill. Your advice is appreciated! Thanks

If those 2 pills you took after those 3 "pill-less" days were the active ones then it will stop your period from happening until you get to the placebo pills in this new pack of pills.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
