Has anyone tried these?? I have read mixed reviews. If used properly and effecively they seem to be 94%.

I've used them but as a backup to another method. Personally I didn't want to use them as my sole method of birth control. I think the effectiveness is too low and the odds of it not being used properly are too high. If you go to a doctor you can get a cervical cap or diaphragm fitted and then you put the spermicide in there. It provides some barrier protection and keeps the spermicide in the correct place. I found I can't tolerate spermicide so I never went that route and did hormonal based birth control instead.

We've had discussion about VCFs before and it seemed quite a few women had unfavorable reactions.

I've used them a few times and they are terribly hard to insert. They get stuck to your finger no matter how fast you try to put it in and then it just turns to a gooey mess on your fingertip.

The times I did get them in I wasn't 100% that they were in right but I did not end up pregnant so...I think I was just lucky and on my off days. Though sex with a spermicide in does NOT feel as good. It feels like there is something coating my insides and making everything less sensitive.

OK, I finally tried it. My fingers were completely dry, like the directions said, but it still stuck on my finger. I wasted 2 of them, and finally third one, I folded it twice and it went in easy and stayed. Also, I felt irritated all day from it!!! I had to take a bath, and then put A&D ointment on to stop the burning and irritation. I wouldn't recommened these at all.
