Thread: Should I be worried?

I had sex with a man and it was unprotected sex. I am on birth control but the day I had sex with him, I forgot to take my pill that day, but I took two pills the next day at the usual time to make up for it. I should also note that he came a few times, but he kept pulling out and I wiped the semen off with a towel before we started to have sex again. Was there any semen left on his penis? I felt funny the week after: I kept getting vaginal wetnes. I took a pregnancy test a little after a week after we had sex and it was negative.. Also, I think I don't want to be on the pill anymore... So my two questions are:

1. Am I fine since I took the test and since I'm on the pill?

2. Will I be alright (not get pregnant) if I stop taking the pill now (the semen would be dead after more than two weeks)?

I just want to be sure I'm not pregnant and won't be if I stop taking the pill from my last sex escapade...

Chances are pretty good that you are not pregnant, though even when you are on the pill, they are only 98 - 99% effective.

Why, if you're participating in unprotected sex, would you want to go off of the pill? Then again, why would you have unprotected sex with a man, it sounds like you hardly knew? I don't mean to sound like a lecture...but really? With all of the "stuff" that is out there, STDs, unwanted pregnancy, etc. is it really worth the risk?

Your body is a temple....treat it accordingly! AND If you're going to play where it's wet, or allow someone else to, don't forget your rubbers!
