weird brown discharge
i've been taking tri-sprintec for about 4 years now, and just recently [maybe a few days ago] started having brownish spotting. its not unsual for me to have a white-ish discharge, but this is the first time i've had a brownish color [other than the old blood brown color]. this brown is lighter. since i'm on the pill and am in a steady long-term relationship i don't use condoms. i take my first sugar pill tonight but don't normally start my period until after i take the 2nd sugar pill. help? can i get this to go away? if the problem persists i'm going to go to my doctor.
Brown is old blood, it can come at any point in a cycle. Often it happens before a period to signify that the body is preparing for it to happen and it also often happens after a period because not all blood during a cycle is removed. It is completely normal.
