I just switched this Sunday from Depo to Nuva Ring and I waited too long so Ihave to use a backup method for a week, but my question is I ahve been having extra discharge it does not smell bad it smells kinda like me if I forget to put on Deodorant or something ya know like Imm kinda musky or something!! Is this something that normally happens with the riing and will it stop?

i have had the ring for over two years now and i love it. yes the extra discharge is normal and for me it comes and goes i just wear panty liners when it gets bad. but i say it is way worth it for me i now have a regular period so i no longer have to worry if i am pregnate cause i missed two or three months.
Bacerial vaganiosis is also something that may be more prevalent but that is treatable.
I hope the ring treats you well Depo screwed me up so i was so releived to have the ring. good luck

insert the ring as far as your finger can push it back. It won't get lost and if it slips out rinse it with cold water and reinsert it within 3 hours. Mine has never fell out and during sex I can't even tell it's there
