When I was younger, I was on orthoevra and it worked great for me. Then I had to have a varicose vain taken care of and after the surgery, developed a blood clot. After that I didnt go back on birth control for fear of getting another blood clot. The Blood clot that I got initianlly was a rare side effect from the surgery that I had done so I dont know if the BC was from the surgery or from my birth control. Now, 5 years later with no problems with blood clots, I want to go back on birth control. Can I? or are there any other options for me? Please help.
