I've been taking the combination pill for 5 days now and I've been experiencing some nausea. I know these side effects can wear off after a while, but it's very important that I'm on top of my game for the next two weeks. So, I'm considering stopping taking the pill for now and starting back up again when a little nausea won't make much of a difference.

Will this throw my system off in anyway? I did the Sunday start option so I shouldn't get my period for another 2 weeks. Will stopping this early make any difference at all?

    Thanks

It could cause some spotting. Possibly delay your period or make it come early...how long do you plan to be off it before going back on? I would wait then again until you have your next period and start it on the first day of your period.

I wouldn't start up again until my next period, at the earliest.
I didn't think taking it for only 5 days would make much of a difference, but I would like to know what to expect.

I don't think it would be a MAJOR change, but there is always the possibility of spotting or early/late period. That's probably about it...
