Hey everyone.. I wasn't sure where to post this, but I figured that this would be best since my problem may have started because of the pill.. A few weeks ago, I was diagnosed with PCOS, my gyno put me on Glucophage and the pill. I started taking the glucophage and didn't really get any side effects.. On the 6th of April I started the pill, on the 10th, I started getting headaches, on the 11th I started getting a pain in my hand and chest pain. I called the gyno and she said to stop the pill. On the 12th, while walking through a mall, I started to get a pain in my calf and a tingling in my toes.. Same side as the hand.. Left.. So, I went by my regular dr and he gave some injections and ordered a cbc/lipids test. On the 13th the pain in my hand had considerably eased but the pain in my calf moved to sorta behind my knee.. But the tingling was gone.. I went back by my dr today, the 15th, with the test results and he said that everything was fine. And to continue the aspirin regimen he gave me for two weeks. I am also feeling a bit feverish and cold.. So, he gave me antibiotics to take for five days.. I'm still getting a slight pain in my foot, but he told me that everything is ok and that will go away once I take the aspirin.. My feet and hands are clammy.. I'm sorry the post was so long, but should I be worried about anything??? I know the glucophage can cause the chills, but I'm hoping that the antibiotics will take care of that.. Other than these problems, I'm fine.. Ie, no headaches, nausea, dizziness, tiredness etc etc.. Any information will be greatly appreciated!
