Thread: Metal mouth, pills, hormones??

Hi there, I am new to the forum. Just to give a little background I have had PCOS since I was 18 ( I am 34 now) have had 2 successful pregnancies and 2 miscarriages. No cysts on ovaries now.

I started on Logynon in November and in February started getting a disgusting metallic taste in my mouth, it is there constantly with no relief.

My question is, has anybody had this 'metal mouth' mouth on the pill or for any other reason. I am DEF not pregnant

Any opinions, personal opinions woud be greatly appreciated as I am at a total loss!

i've never had that odd taste. i've never even heard of the type of birth control you're talking about. aside from the disgusting metal taste, do you experience any other negative side effects? if so, you should probably discontinue use and start taking another brand of birth control. i'm currently taking ortho-cyclen (at first i was taking sprintec, the generic version, but had an AWFUL pregnancy scare while on the generic brand, got a little paranoid, and started taking the "real" kind). they're both pretty good since i don't experience any particular side effects other than slight increased appetite. then again, all women are different and experience different side effects with different brands of birth control.
