    Default Can you get pregnant if you had sex 3 weeks after taking first depo shot

    Took the shot at 6 week checkup after birth of first baby. Two weeks later there was bleeding for a week. Then had unprotected sex.
    No idea if ovulation took place. No idea if this bleeding is period or side effect of depo.
    Any comments are appreciated

    Your body is adjusting to the new BC, hence the bleeding. I'm not so sure about the possibility of pregnancy at this point (I think you're on "clear"), but do check with your doc regarding the bleeding and ask about your concerns regarding the latter.
