I have been taking this pill for coming up 2 years and never had a problem, my periods have always been on time and always lasted 5 days. Last month back in April my period arrived and went within four days. I never thought much of this although I started with feeling bloated, feeling sick and getting heartburn few more headaches and moody. I am normally moody a few days before my period comes but I had just had it and I have been suffering with a lot more gas. I had suffered with these symptoms for weeks before telling a friend. I only told her because I used a tonning belt around my stomach and I few hours later I started to bleed this only lasted about a day. She confinced me to book a doctors appointment 2 weeks ago and she told me to stop taking the pill till I found out if I was pregnant or not. I took 3 pregnancy tests before going and all 3 came back negative. I never even thought I was pregnant. I was weigh 1 week before going to the doctors and have since weigh myself again and I have put 5lb on which is not like me at all considering my diet and exercise had not changed. Because I stopped taking my mini pill for 3 days and I started taking it again after talking to the doctor my period for May has still no arrived, I am unsure what to do now. I know that when it was five days late I took another pregnancy test and it came back negative. Can stopping and starting the mini pill like I have done cause this. The symptoms I have been suffering have not gone away although they are not as bad.
