So ... I recently switched to another birth control pill due to my old one not being available where I get them. However, my old pill only made my periods 4 days, the new one 7 days, because of switching them, there was a 2 week period where I did not take birth control.

WELL...I am experiencing the most horrible pains ever. I just started my period 3 days ago and I am almost about to cry over how bad the pain is. Could this be because of the pill??

Do you normally get bad cramps? The pill usually helps control cramping, not cause it. It may just be your body adjusting to hormone level changes, but painful cramping is common in a lot of women. If it's bothering you, call your doctor and ask what they think could be the cause.
In the end, the king and the pawn both go into the same box.
